About this movie

From Academy Award winner Alexander Payne (The Descendants, Nebraska) comes the hilarious film that delivers big comedy... and small Matt Damon. When scientists find a way to shrink humans to five inches tall, Paul Safranek (Academy Award winner Matt Damon) and his wife Audrey (Kristen Wiig) decide to ditch their stressed out lives in order to get small and live large in a luxurious downsized community. Filled with life-changing adventures and endless possibilities, Leisureland offers more than riches, as Paul discovers a whole new world and realizes that we are meant for something bigger. Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained) also stars in this tremendously entertaining and original film.

This movie is a Liberal Propaganda Film filled with FALSE, MISGUIDED, AND SATANIC messages. Started off great then BAM, as soon as they are in the Bar having a drink, some drunk guy asks if they should have the right to VOTE...THAT'S WHEN IT TAKES THE LIBERAL DARK TURN...OF COURSE THE LIBERAL MATT DAMON FRIENDS START VIOLENCE, STANDING UP TO BEAT THE 1 DRUNK GUY UP. 4 vs 1 FOR HAVING DIFFERENT POLITICAL VIEWS. It's like the director and writer started smoking CRACK and it goes ALL OVER THE PLACE FROM THERE! WARNING....THIS FILM WILL CAUSE ACTUAL PAIN WHEN WATCHING. I have never asked for a refund before, but....I WANT A REFUND!!!! LOL...GOD BLESS THEM, BUT THIS FILM WAS HORRIBLE!!! Hate to break it to ya but it would still cost the same whether you was small or large. A bottle of vodka would cost the same for everyone in AMERICA!!!. Example...if I was large, $20 a bottle, if I was small, still $20 a bottle for the small size living in the small community. If half the country was small that means there would be a surplus of vodka which means everyone in America would be able to buy vodka for around a $1. Also if that many homes were being abandoned in the large world...then home prices would go down. It would be a buyers market. Heck...go ahead, make everyone small, I'll take all the large beach front properties for cheap. If the small people lived in a different country with different economic system....then they would NOT be living in America and WOULD NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO VOTE cuz they basically MOVED...so they should only VOTE IN THE TINY COMMUNITY COUNTRY THEY LIVE IN. Not to mention now they need to depend on Large Americans to feed them....what they can make small seeds??? Grow tiny vegetables??? Also now they need protection. It would actually be MORE EXPENSIVE TO LIVE AS A TINY PERSON. This movie could have been a great HORROR FLICK. Cuz now the Tiny people just made themselves the lowest life forms on the planet. Bugs and spiders would eat them. JEESH THIS MOVIE IS A LIBERAL BRAINWASHING MESS TO FOOL SIMPLE MINDED FOOLS. That is EXACTLY WHAT SATAN DOES....FOOL AND DECEIVE YOU!!! Seriously Google you need to start putting WARNING SIGNS when film's are going to be Liberal Political. Hollywood please keep politics out of movies and I will keep them out of my reviews. So sad. DON'T DELETE OR BAN THE TRUTH GOOGLE.

Disjointed plot with no direction. It's like they just wanted to make a bunch of political points without a coherent sorry. Oh yeah, they screwed up the ending too (if you can even call that an ending). He asks why they are walking up slope to go down, yet when he runs out, he's running up (to continue down). This movie was a waste of time and great acting talent.

Not a great flick. I especially disliked the scene in "Downsizing" (directed and produced by Alexander Payne) where Matt Damon's 5 inch tall character "Paul" screamed the n word at the top of his lungs for 10 minutes straight after having been "downsized" (the gimmick in this film). It was a particularly jarring scene in an otherwise boring movie. I like Christoph Waltz though.
