Realistic, funny, heartbreaking and hope-filled. It's amazing to see a film that celebrates love, life and hope in a cruel world that wants to snuff these all away. Love is sacrifice. There is hurt, pain and suffering. But if you open your heart to loving and being loved, that's what leads to joy with self and with others. That's what makes families no matter where you come from.

Probably the most accurate movie about foster parenting that I have ever seen. There was only one seen thing that didnt ring true. (The picnic where they meet potential kids to have in their homes; kids are placed individually and at the most inconvenient times. ) The writers must have had at least some involvement with the system to get it this right.

I'm surprised this movie made the top of the list but I absolutely loved it. I worked within the system and feel as though any positivity shined towards being a foster parent is a wonderful thing. And this movie does just that. Definitely funny and heartwarming. Not super "relistic" but I do not think that a 2-hour Max movie could ever cover the ins and outs of being a foster parent and the system excetera. I love the fact that they focused on fostering OLDER children and KEEPING siblings 2g!
